On Monday, April 21, 2025, after the Qatar Stock Exchange trading session, Medicare Group announced the company’s financial statements for the first quarter of this year, ended March 31, 2025

The Board of Directors of the Medicare Group (Q.P.S.C.) met yesterday afternoon, after the Qatar Stock Exchange trading session, chaired by His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Thani Al Thani the chairman of the board, and discussed and approved the company’s financial statements for the first quarter of this year, ending March 31, 2025. The financial statements showed that the company achieved net profits of QAR 21,616,000 from the beginning of the year, and earnings per share amounted to QAR 0.077 per share

Mr. Khalid Al-Emadi, the CEO of Medicare Group and Al-Ahli Hospital, stated that the company was able to achieve steady growth in performance despite the temporary impact of the period during which the holy month of Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr fell, which slightly affected the revenues of the last third of the first quarter. The company continued to develop the quality of services and increase the bed capacity according to a plan that included diversifying services (quantity and quality), in addition to empowering the medical and nursing staff and installing the latest equipment such as the first photon imaging device in the private sector in the Middle East. The company also continued with its strategy of rationalizing expenses without compromising the quality of services

Mr. Al-Emadi added that, as part of its operational strategy, the management has launched new medical products and packages to attract a wider segment of private sector clients in the fields of obstetrics and gynecology, IVF, and pediatrics. Work is currently underway to offer services that facilitate the payment of inpatient medical services, including surgeries and medical procedures requiring admission, for patients and guests. The management has also launched a new website and interactive mobile application, facilitating booking and appointment procedures and requesting medical reports

Finally, work is currently underway to hand over the new building housing the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Center and the outpatient clinics for orthopedics, ophthalmology, ENT, and dentistry. It will be ready for operation during the second quarter, God willing. Concluding his statement, Mr. Al-Emadi thanked the Board of Directors for their support, as well as all employees and entities involved in achieving this growth
